Marcus Campbell, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacology Fellow
Marcus W. Campbell is a post-doctoral Clinical Pharmacology Fellow at the American Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AIPS).
Dr. Campbell has a strong clinical background in chronic disease management, with a particular focus in management of diabetes and its co-morbid conditions. He has clinical research experience in multiple areas of ambulatory care pharmacy practice and pharmacogenetics.
After earning a PharmD with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Florida, Dr. Campbell went on to complete an ambulatory care specialty residency training program with an academic emphasis at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. Additionally he completed a post-doctoral teaching certification program, and he currently holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida.
Dr. Campbell served as a member in the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists House of Delegates, and is currently participating in exam question preparation for the BPS Ambulatory Care Specialty Certification program. Additionally, he holds memberships in American College of Clinical Pharmacists and The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Prior to pursuing a career in the Pharmacy Profession, Dr. Campbell had 10 years experience in the retail grocery business, where he held a regional management position for an independent retail grocery chain.
